Flagship cooling & heating VRF
TCL TMV7 Smart
TCL’s flagship VRF platform for large commercial buildings. Single modules of 14–26 HP combine into systems of up to 104 HP serving as many as 80 indoor units, with AI energy optimisation, multi-level backup and a 6-step generator mode for sites running on standby power.

- 01
Refrigerant-cooled inverter
360° dual-tube refrigerant cooling draws heat away from the main control board and inverter module. In testing, module temperature fell by 20 °C — the difference between derating and running at full load in a Gulf summer.
- 02
Multiple backup operation
If one outdoor module fails it is isolated from system communication while the rest keep running; on dual-fan units the second fan takes over instantly.
- 03
AI energy saving
A self-optimising control loop senses multiple parameters and matches output to real-time load by adjusting frequency and airflow, for up to 20% annual energy savings.
- 04
6-step generator mode
Cap capacity in six steps from 40% to 100% from the wired or remote controller so the system stays within generator limits.
- 05
EVI compressor & U-shaped coil
Enhanced vapour injection sustains cooling at 55 °C ambient, while the three-sided U-shaped heat exchanger adds 40% effective area over a single-row design.
- 06
Faster commissioning
Automatic indoor-unit addressing, one-button test run, emergency IDU maintenance mode and auto-restart after power cuts cut site time and call-backs.
Typical applications
Hotels & HospitalityQuiet guest rooms, keycard and BMS control, and lobbies where the ceiling is part of the design.
Malls & RetailHigh heat loads, long trading hours and rooftop plant that bakes in the sun all summer.
Offices & TowersLong vertical piping, zoned tenancy control and energy codes that reward every percentage point.
