02Engineering for heat

High ambient is not a rating on a label — it is a set of design decisions that run from the inverter board to the fan blade.

Refrigerant-cooled electronics
A wraparound refrigerant radiator pulls heat from the inverter module; on TMV7 Smart, testing showed module temperature 20 °C lower.

Enhanced vapour injection
EVI compressors inject refrigerant mid-compression to hold capacity and lower discharge temperature at extreme ambient.

Layered backup
Compressor, fan and outdoor-module backup keep a building cooled while a fault is serviced.
